More Changes to Food Safety Modernization Act

Last week, the US FDA submitted the final preventative controls they recommend for human and animal food to the Federal Register to be published. Another step in the evolution of the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) which is on track to be the most sweeping reform to this country’s food safety laws in more than 70 years, we are following these important changes that promise to place the emphasis from reacting to preventing contamination. Because of the pivotal role the Mars Air Curtain plays in thousands of food prep and serving centers in the US and internationally, we will continue to present the updates along with recommendations for how your facility can play its role in this important transformation.  As soon as the Federal Register releases the information, we’ll present our take on it here.
